Betrayed
November 9, 2005

Things have been super busy, but I found time to finish an older sketch (at the insistance of my Pixie.) I'll just leave him for viewing as he's not a particular favorite. Maybe I'll put him for sale next week. His name is Betrayed... for lack of anything better.

Fan Art-- Jonathon Morris as Ash the Music lover from the Vampire Journals
August 18, 2005

Another one of my favorite characters, Jonathon Morris as Ash the Music Lover, from the Vampire Journals. Morris has one of the most beautiful faces I think (not to mention hair, haha.) He is the archetype of who I would like to look like as a man.

Ash can be viewed in large format PNG here. (Fan Art again-- not for Sale)

Willy Wonka-- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Fan Art
August 4, 2005

I don't do much fan art anymore, but how can I resist my all-time favorite character, Mr. Willy Wonka from Roald Dahl's wonderful books. This is, of course, the Johnny Depp Wonka. (You can still seen my old Gene Wilder Wonka fan art here.)

I had fun with his cane and hair, listening to the Charlie & The Chocolate Factory Soundtrack all the while. (Gotta love the Oompa Loomp's new songs!) Both the new and old will always be my two favorite films. ^.^ As it is fan art I cannot sell it, so that wonderful magician, Willy Wonka, is available for viewing here in large format PNG.

You can purchase CRUZ OSCURA here!

May 19, 2005

As promised, the second Gothic Lolita: Bella Muerte. This one is the companion to Lolito and, as Lolito is based on Alex, I did this for him, and it is based on me. (Loosely, Haha!) Alex is the one that insisted on the Tiara. ^.~*

I am sure her song would be anything by Malice Mizer. ^.^

You can purchase BELLA MUERTE here!

Bella Muerte
The Fairy Godfather-- Unfinished Portrait
May 13, 2005

It's been a couple of crazy weeks (as usual) so stuff is delayed. So, this is what I am working on, a face portrait of the Fairy Godfather which is for a project I am working on. (Yes, I am enjoying blue hair as you can see. ^.~)

It's not finished and so not for sale.

His song? Eiffel 65-- I'm Blue (da ba de da ba da...Haha)

The Artist
April 28, 2005

The Artist and his Fairy Muse. Something quite a bit lighter and romantic to suit the mood. The title eluded me for a while but I decided to name it after the tulips in the forefront and on his lapel. They are a hybrid tulipa viridilora called "Artist." My dear Fairy, sent me photos of this flower that she had taken from her home in the Netherlands. She said the name made her think of me. (Thank you!)

The songs were many for this. Maybe, perhaps, Enya: Caribbean Blue.

You can purchase THE ARTIST here.

Booty Call
April 21, 2005

The sexiest Gunner's Mate I ever did see. She captured me one day and forced me to paint her portrait at sword-point. I was paid in Spanish coins. (The model for this was my Piratess, who wishes to remain in the shadows.) Being Spanish, I gave her a gaucho hat and flamenco inspired costume. I had a blast with this and it was fun to paint someone with a little color for a change. The Piratess on a raid for booty, I'd really give it up if I were you. Trust me, you don't wanna messs with her! *winks*

Gothic Lolito
April 15, 2005

This is a new series for which I will hopefully have a new one every week or so. Started last year, he is the first. Gothic Lolito, the little Grim Reaper. (The model, of course, Alex again.) I'd wanted to unveil them all at once but I have too many projects at the moment. (One of them getting my beloved hearse, OsCar Wylde, back on the road again after this harsh winter! YAY!)

So here he is. You can purchase GOTHIC LOLITO HERE.

The Fairy Godfather
April 1, 2005 (April Fools!)

Why should women have all the fun? Meet The Fairy Godfather! This fairy makes sure the carriage has white walls, that the prince looks spiffy and that Cinderella ALWAYS makes it home before midnight (and no excuses, young Lady!) I had tremendous fun with this, especially the costume (wingtip shoes and all) The cape/wings are based on moth wings which I thought would look a bit better on him being a man, as well as go better with this costume. The inspiration for this piece was my favorite Fairy, the bright sunflower of my life, Lori and so it's my gift to her.

The song for this is: Lori, don't go right now-- Al Stewart.

You can purchase The Fairy Godfather here!

Purchase The Conductor!
February 15th

Finally finished THE CONDUCTOR: the creator of music. I had started him before I was ill.  He was meant to be entered into the Hygienic Art Show, but in the end I was too sick to attend and he remained unfinished for months. The model for this was my husband, Alex, who is a composer in his free time. The Conductor is very campy as I had originally made it for the show. I loved working on his costume and hair. In the end I think I am going to add him as the first in a triptych of the Three Muses-- maybe that will be shown next year.

The song for him is Moi Dix Mois: Vizard.

You can purchase The Conductor Here!

Purchse Vampire Here!
February 16th

Sort of a redo of Blue Tears. He might end up in another project I am working on. It's sort of a 2005 version of Gardenia, only this time it is male and not female. The gardenia was just a sneaky way of showing off this neat antique ring I saw and just had to add to his pinky. He's just called "Vampire" at the moment, for lack of a better name.

The song for him is: Dubstar: St Swithin's Day.

You can Purchase VAMPIRE Here!

Moon Prince
This is the first picture for a project I have been working on for a while. Alex is, of course, the model again. I wasn't going to put it for purchase until the project was finished but as it's nowhere done and some people have expressed interest-- here it is. Moon Prince.

You can purchase MOON PRINCE Here!

Purchase Acid Kisses Here!
This was a gift for a good friend, the Gothic Lolita model Acid Kisses.

You can purchase merchandise with ACID KISSES Here!

Blue Tears
I did this in either late January or early February. Hadn't drawn for a long time as I was very sick. I just wanted to have fun. In the end I gave him my hair. So I can say this is a fantasy self portrait, (Yes, all my self-portraits are guys.  My ideal self.) So you will see a lot of tall guys with curly red hair here... hehe. I've had fun lately playing with lighting.

His name is BLUE TEARS and you can purchase stuff with him here.

Purchase Road less Travelled Here!
A quick sketch of the Road Less Travelled.
